Despite the T-14's deep compartments, large owls can still cling to the porches of T-14s, beat their wings against the walls, and flush out martins for capture.

Aluminum arms and mounting brackets provide an attractive way to increase the safety of your martins. The rods are spaced so as to make it more difficult for a large owl to reach the house and its occupants. The guards securely mount to the porches and allow the doors to open freely. These guards consist of 8 rods (two for each house unit), mounting brackets and stainless steel hardware.
