These naturally dried mealworms are preservative and additive free and are a high protein source for martins, bluebirds and any insect-eating bird.

• They come in a variety of sizes and do not need to be refrigerated.
• The 10 ounce container holds approximately 9230 medium sized mealworms.
•  Compared to live mealworms, they are reasonably priced, have a much longer shelf life, and will not crawl out of your feeder.
• They can be rehydrated to add weight (so they don't blow out of open feeders) and to add water (birds get much of their water from the insects that they eat). Simply fill bag with water, zip closed, and let stand overnight.

The typical analysis is: Protein 36%, crude fat 18%, fiber 7%, moisture 9%.
