Martin Colony History: 2018 will be my first try. 6 S&K B09s. 29 eggs - 8 fledged
2019 - 12 Troyer Horizontals with tunnels, 6 S&K B09s and 12 B011s all with tunnels. 43 eggs - 36 fledged
2020 - Rack 1 - 6 B011s, Rack 2 - 24 B011s, and Rack 3 - 24 Troyer Horizontals. All gourds have tunnels, porches and crescent/Conley 11 entrances; racks have predator guards. 161 eggs - 88 fledged

Here are the 3 racks comprising my colony. Rack 1 (2018) is the Tri-tel telescopic with the B011s and the added perching station above the gourds. Rack 2 (2019) is the 24 S&K with B011s. Also added perching rods to this rack. Rack 3 (2020) is my "home made" special; two wooden disks held apart with four 1" dowels and supported with knee braces formed from 1/2" electrical metal tubing. Also used emt secured beneath the disks to attach the gourds. The 20' X 2 3/8" schedule 40 aluminum pole is secured in a 2 1/2" schedule 40 PVC pipe which is cemented in a hole l8" wide and 36" deep. I only raise this rack so that the upper gourds are about 3 feet below the pulley. Going to add a perching station in this void for the 2021 season. Perches for martins to socialize and get a break from the kids are really the ticket! I'm going to raise my predator control buckets on Racks 1 & 2 to match the "high" position on Rack 3. Another job for when my buddies are in Brazil.
You can see my Adirondack observation chair is currently in a 4" pond recently formed by heavy rains here in south Florida.

I really like the looks of a large gourd rack. Your place looks very nice there in Florida.

Is that top pulley housing store bought? Or did u build it too? Nice design Was wondering how much rack 3

Rack 2 was purchased as a kit from S & K Manufacturing in O'Fallon, MO. S & K does sell the "ball pulley" separately for about $15. It fits snugly into the tubing supplied with the colony kit but the one I used for my "home made" Rack 3 had to be modified. The post diameter had to be reduced slightly. My brother-in-law has access to a metal working lathe so he turned the post down to fit into the aluminum pole I used for Rack 3.
I'm guessing Rack 3 weighs between 45 to 50 pounds. I mounted the winch just high enough on the pole so the crank clears without hitting the ground. This allows me to drop the rack until the bottom edge of the predator control bucket is just above my fist. I roll out from under the lower tier of gourds after locking the winch and am able to do my nest checks without a ladder.

I will have to check out S&K manufacturing. I will be starting to finish my other
house soon, garage has AC, still need to cut doors into wall panels before
starting to assemble.
