Advice needed on what to order

I have 4 Troyer vertical gourds with round holes on the tunnel. What do I order to replace these with SR holes? Would it be the same item as for the Troyer horizontals? I can find that easy enough - but I can't see what I need to order for the veritcals. Thanks!

I would assume that Troyer's tunnels fit both their horizontal and vertical gourds. It only makes sense from a manufacturing standpoint. The part number for the Conley ll tunnel is TTC. You may want to call Troyer at 800.872.0103 to confirm

If it were me I would just order some crescent SREH plastic plates and adhere them over the factory entrance plate. Then from here on out just order gourds with SREH. I used these plates on the first T14 I built close to 15 years ago and they are still in use. I used them again on the one I built last year. You will just have to cut your existing hole out to make sure the SREH is not obstructed anywhere.

I attached mine to the T14 with screws. I would assume plastic on plastic if you scuffed both surfaces a decent glue or epoxy would bond them permanently.

Aluminum pop rivets are the best way of attaching an entrance plate to your existing tunnels. It's very hard to find an adhesive that bonds well to the PE plastic that they tunnels are made from. Pop rivets work great.
