Do gourds hung under a T14 interfere with the winch when the house is lowered?

.... First ,, Welcome to the PMCA Forum... Great to have you here with us... The Gourds under my T-14 don’t interfere with the winch operation... Maybe it is because the winch is well below where I stop the T-14 on it’s way down.. to do my nest checks.... Good Luck in 2020

Make sure you mount them out towards the front of the house and the wont bother you much at all.

I have the brackets which mount the gourds sticking out from the "corners" between each section of the T 14. Once I lower my housing all the way down I do have to pivot the gourd just slightly but it is no issue at all. If it were too much of a problem you could drop your winch down a couple inches. When I put mine on I just guessed where I wanted it. In order to see in the top compartments I have to lower it to where the gourd just hits the handle on the last rotation down. I lift the gourd over, make one more rotation and then I can see in.
