Martin Colony History: I started trying to attract Purple Martins in 2011. I got my first breeding pair in 2013.

2013-1 pair, 2014-4 pair, 2015-8 pair, 2016-12 pair 60 babies :-).

Hey Sharon! Two pair! Congratulations. I knew this year would be the one for you. That is GREAT! This year has been the same as last year for me with full capacity (12 pair). I have the first nestlings fledging today! I think mine will all be done by early July.

Martin Colony History: 9 years of trying hard...finally in 2017 I had 3 pair w/ 11 babies. T-14 +4 w/ 4 Troyer horiz. gourds. Troyer Super System 24. Fast forward to 2020... 64 fledged.

Congrats. I had sensed your passion for success via your postings. I have been at it for 9 years now with only visitors. It's looking like I may get the chance this year to join the landlord club. Hope for the perfect summer.

Sharon, yours is a lesson to all of us, wanna be, new and old landlords alike; never give up, keep improving! Very happy for you and your martins, your very ready and those Martins will be spoiled rotten as they should be. That SY pair will get the message and settle down soon enough!
