I could sure use a hand prepping for my returning Martins. I'm still stuck in a wheelchair with my hip bones still broken, I can't get in the backyard to care for the birds. here is what I need help with

Supersystem 24 gourd rack

1. Empty all gourd contents (old nest materials the HOSP have stuffed in there over winter).
2. Sprinkle in a liltle bit of Seven Dust
3. Spray outside of Gourds with Seven
4. Rack is all the way down right now. Crank the rack back up 3/4 ways. Watch out the the giant spider living in the crank handle area, my neighbor freaked on it when he lowered the rack last year. I've been looking for the spider through my .22 pellet rifle scope to kill it but I think it's moved on.

I will provide gloves, Spray and power Seven, Gas Money $25 if your within 25 miles, $50 within 50 miles etc.

Chris check with the Travis Audubon Society or there might be someone close in the mentor list.

I'd help if I were closer!

Travis Audubon is a great idea, Peggy - thanks for suggesting them. They are doing a terrific job of roost watching/public education. I know some folks to contact there, will follow up. Chris, I will send you a private message today or tomorrow, to let you know who, etc.

If I lived closer, I'd be more than glad to help out. Hope Louise can find someone.

I may be able to help you next week, or whenever the weather warms up a bit. I live not very far from you in Pflugerville. I'll be in touch. Am currently in the process of cleaning out my houses and building owl guards for my new gourds that I bought at last years Martinfest in Tennessee. You don't need to pay me; I'll do it for the martins. If you'd like, you can make a donation to PMCA instead.

I don’t have the perfect site. One open flyway with trees within 80 ft. I do have a small pond they utilize during the heat of Summer. (2017) HEAVY HAWK PREDATION

It was my pleasure. Anything to help our babies, right? You have a great site and I'm sure all your returning martins will be happy. Best of luck!

I received 2 pair of beautiful fat & healthy ASY males and females. They have already chosen their perspective gourds. Yeah! We were just in time thanks to Laure Dore's help. Let's give her a plug on the next magazine for her kindness and for helping another landlord who desperately needed the help. Laura just jumped at the chance to help out and that's what it's all about folks.
