Well last Sunday the 22nd they finally showed up! A pair of sy birds, they hung around ever since and this am the female started bringing nest materials in the house, I hope they will stay but they haven't roosted in the house yet. In fact they were here all morning acting like this is home to them ...

The sy female at my house in MI goes down to the garden and picks up pieces of dead grasss and parts of last years dead cattails. Still hopefull

I haven't given up hope yet that the martins that visited my site last summer as fledglings may still show up.
