I put up one of those wooden nest-cups from americanartifacts underneath the eave of my porch last Spring, (for Barn Swallows) but a pair of Eastern Phoebes moved in. :grin: I just love these birds. Tim are you saying the tape is sticky on both sides? If so, that's probably why she was stuck. I use the Outdoor Tread Tape as traction for them. Here's a picture of it. You can get it at Lowe's or Wal-Mart.

Rhonda, thanks so much for posting that! I was wondering if it was a good method to use. We don't eat enough eggs around here to try it. I have just always rinsed them out after I cracked them.... :grin:

Robert, it seems like I read on here one time that someone said to put them in a pillowcase, and throw them into the washing machine, (do not add detergent) and then dry them in the dryer. Thats supposed to break them up. I've never tried this, but if you have a bunch of them, thats what I would do....

I added Cedar shavings to my houses year before last, and they threw them all out. I added Pine needles to the houses/gourds last year, and they love them. :grin:
