Are you sure they were wasps? Yellow Jackets pack a power sting, are very aggressive, and normally don't fly too far off the ground, But, maybe wind could up lift them?. Honey bees would be my guess... they have some yellow stripes... the head should be the tell-tell sign wasp and bees heads are dif...

IMO difference in available PM's/housing, plenty in San Anton, few in dakota's. IMO eventually unmanaged housing falling apart will fail, sometimes it takes years and sometimes all sudden due to predators???

Luckily the big hail stones was few and far between and missed my PM housing. One knocked my decoy upside down (guess I grazed it) and my garden (raised bed) had couple of hits other than that it was every 10 to 15 feet square or so... I seen video of large hail and course a lot more of it can imagi...

these birds are amazing.. Your shot is way over the top! I also like watching them specially when they pull the wings back and fold them like Fighter jet and dive down from 1000 feet then open them up like speed brake drop onto the house. They come down at amazing speeds. I am amazed that they don't...

"does anyone know if pms will eat them" IMO not something they readily go after " TOO big" just like the skeeter's are too small, this would be the other end of the spectrum. Be like us trying to swallow Big mac in one bit.. Well, some people could probably do it, along with some PMs.. I dought Near...

I tested sreh entries with starlings for about 6 years. What I have determined there are about 1 in every 10 to 15 that you can't stop. they get through every sreh made in trap and some on house or gourd. Those are the ones you have to shoot or trap out. I have also observed Later in the spring when...

that mid 1960's statement that starling won't nest in 6x6x6 compartment was sales gimmic. if they will nest in woodpecker hole 6x6x6 compartment like palace comparted to small area of woodpecker cavity... In my area 80% of PM housing are domated by starlings.. Sparrows won't even nest with them. gue...

BB really good examples of barrel altering devices on Firearms. My browning semi-auto rifle has something called BOSS system on end of the barrel which I think incorporated all but silencing.
