im so glad for you mike ive gone thru 30 lbs of crickets and meal worms and 200 hand warmers my 12 arrived the 19th and its been a battle and I saw a dam hawk today as well dick Wow, bless you for your efforts....get that hawk outta there...Ohio weather right now is about as lousey as I can remembe...

Yes, lots of the Amish colinies in and around our area started seeing them middle of last week....I have a realitivly new coliny so didnt know the exact time it would be. Last yr. it was April 6th

Had our first ASY male show up this morning , Raining , 40 Degrees....Looks like its gonna be cricket time for him....However It is very exciting to have our season start again.

There is a book that this sight sells, "Purple Martin Journey" best most informal book out there....well worth the 25 bucks and guy gives you practical information.

Hello Ed and Mona! Yes it should explode in May! If all goes well and the pair returns! The barrow pit is overflowing right now with all the rain! They’ll be able to scoop down drink and bath then back up to their perch! I have two racks up and ready! One more to prepare and should be up this weeke...

This is not news I wanted to here, I have 10 new Troyer gourds (conley II) I was really impressed of the quality of these gourds but hate to think starlings could enter!! Will keep a close eye out this season starlings are not a real big problem here. I have 3 - T14. Houses along with Troyer gourds...
