Check some of the hobby stores (Hobby Lobby, Michaels) and office supply stores (Office Depot, Staples) for vinyl adhesive letters. Many say they can be used outdoors, and are relatively easy to apply. I've used these for many years and they're still holding up to the elements.

If you had a "full 8-room house" last year, then chances are excellent that you'll refill that house again this year. In 2001 I started out with a T-14 and four gourds, and was able to attract one solitary pair. It was the first year I put out any housing for PM's so I felt quite lucky to attract a couple. I use a plastic scrubbing pad to get off as much of the dirt and the stains as possible...then I place them in the dishwasher with a teaspoon of powdered bleach and run them through a cycle. If the stains don't disappear after that, then they're not going to!

Your video is awesome, and from the looks of the housing you've provided, I can't see anything that would deter Martins from inhabiting your site. In fact, you have all the necessary incentives for PM's to nest! I'm going to guess at one problem that might be causing failure to attract Martins...you...
