The Troyer V-Top Trap Plans contains a complete list of materials and assembly instructions for building and setting up the Troyer V-top bait trap.

This large walk-in trap is designed to catch a large volume of starlings and House Sparrows quickly, and has an excellent track record in rural and farm areas, where populations of sparrows and starlings are highest. Users in these areas often report catching several hundred starlings or sparrows in a single day!

The V-top trap's success lies in its large size and repeating action. This trap never needs to be reset; target birds enter through the V-shaped top entrance, and can't find their way out. Trapped birds act as decoys, luring more birds into the trap. (Any non-target birds can later be released, unharmed.)

The 5' x 5' x 8' frame breaks down for storage, and sets up in 10 minutes.

This trap is very large and suitable for more rural setings. 
The production quality of these plans is a little crude, but the trap works well.
