To make it work, I cut the front off the Bo-9 similarly to what you'd do if you were planning to add a tunnel entrance; but then the fun starts. I drilled three holes through the trap and the front of the gourd and used nuts & bolts to hold the thing together. I also used techniques posted by Dorn and others to make it work. It is not a tight fit but just keep the openings too small for a sparrow to escape through. Good luck and have fun
