Hawk update

Thanks for everyone who helped me last fall.
I moved my three gourd racks about 30 feet east, closer to garage and further from trees that keep growing. Seems to have worked. Hard to count but seems like there are more birds this year and haven't seen hawk attack evidence.
We also had a very mild winter so I'm wondering if mice/rats rabbits are doing better that the Coopers might be leaving us alone.

As far as I know, Cooper's Hawk only eat birds. You are just fortunate that (so far) you are not located in the home range for any nesting pairs.

Hope that your luck holds out through the nesting season.

I saw one with a squirrel, once - fuzzy food. Certainly their primary food is birds, but not 100% birds. I know that doesn't help much, but thought it was interesting.
