Martin Colony History: 2018 will be my first try. 6 S&K B09s. 29 eggs - 8 fledged
2019 - 12 Troyer Horizontals with tunnels, 6 S&K B09s and 12 B011s all with tunnels. 43 eggs - 36 fledged
2020 - Rack 1 - 6 B011s, Rack 2 - 24 B011s, and Rack 3 - 24 Troyer Horizontals. All gourds have tunnels, porches and crescent/Conley 11 entrances; racks have predator guards. 161 eggs - 88 fledged.
2021 - 54 gourds-214 eggs, 184 hatched, 168 fledged.

Dropped the racks today with my grandson's help. Rack 1 has the one gourd with 4 chicks. They are doing nicely. Have seen birds bringing nest material to the other 5 gourds that all had eggs, 4 with 5 and one with 6, that were destroyed when the storm last week toppled the rack. Hoped to see the beginnings of new clutches but no such luck. Not giving up though; these guys may come through. Rack 2 went from 73 eggs to 14 young and 71 eggs. Rack 3 went from 48 eggs and 3 chicks to 20 young and 42 eggs. Last week Rack 2 had 8 gourds with no eggs; two of those now have eggs. Rack 3 had 12 gourds with no eggs; three of those now have eggs. Colony totals now at 38 young and 113 eggs. Occupancy (gourds with eggs/young) increased from 63% to 72%. I like it. Some consolation after the storm busted up 27 eggs.
