It’s been a great year so far I have more than doubled my numbers from last year. Had 10 nesting pair last year so far this year 22 nesting pair and I found babies today. And the best part they’re still building more nests that is the SYs are. Have the potential of having 30 this year as far a looking at the remaining nests that are being built. So don’t give up all you newbies out there four years ago I hade nothing. Persistence pays off try to open those sites up as far as cutting trees or whatever you need to do. Get rid of all those house sparrows and starlings. And use your tree swallow protocols. Keep that dawn song playing. Good luck everyone

Great news. Grats on your awesome season. By the way, are you the one I talked to on the phone a good while back when you first started out? Seem to remember John as you first name. I might be mistaken.

Its James but it’s a good possibility that we talked. I had a lot of help from folks on the forum over the last 5 years. And I appreciate each and everyone of them. God bless and have a good season one and all.
