wing entrapment

I answered the survey. Have you?. I have had one entrapment and 2 birds were jamed in the entrance a Conley II with "Lewis modification" I don't think a wing was caught , only 2 birds trying to exit a small entrance. This is the only case I have ever had in at least 10 years. I know the original WEP was designed to prevent wing entrapment. The new one may work better to prevent wing entrapment in certain houses, but the original one has saved countless martins from starlings.
