PMDavid,

Not sure if they are my birds or not but I didn't see them later in the afternoon. I suspect they were passing through. I did open 2 compartments in case they stay around. Looking again tomorrow.

Pullin for ya Brent. If they weren’t it’s still a sign of things to come. I’ve got a genitive arrival date of around 2-3 weeks and gettin excitited of what this season may bring. How bout them tigers, what a game! Let me know if you see em again or they hung around. Maybe they are headed to my house! 😂

Hey PMDavid,

I think they were passing through. Last year my first overnighter came in on January 31st. I'll see more, some curious that will circle but fly off and others that will just fly over. It's been really foggy so I haven't seen too much activity in the morning. There are a lot of bugs for them, though. The weather has been warm and the bugs are plenty.

Dave...thanks. Good luck to you, too.

I'll keep you all posted.

It's always exciting to see them for the first time. I am in Denham Springs, LA and saw several flying around my colony at North Park on 12/29. Crazy early. I've seen them again on another day; however, have not seen them on the gourd racks. I plan to spend time this weekend at the park and will be looking for them high in the sky!

Still no sightings yet. Unless they are arriving after dark and leaving before daylight, both of which I doubt.
