For the past two days when I enter my state to check the scout arrival the following pops up:
“Geocode was not successful for the following reason: REQUEST_DENIED”
Is anyone else experiencing this? And what would cause it?
Thanks for any help. This has never happened before and it has me baffled (hmmm in martin terminology that sounds familiar ).
Sharon I tried my state and there was no problem , then I tried TX . And yes there was the same pop up that you saw , I don’t know what is causing it though.

Martin Colony History: 2018 1 lone nut and lots of visitors 2019 6 pair -21fledged 2020 18 pair -60 fledged 2021......to be seen. 24 natural gourds on a satellite rack,9 other gourds scattered around 2-12 compartment trio houses Rarely see a sparrow or starling,but when I do they don’t last long! Will have a second satellite rack for the 2022 season and phase out the houses,the martins here strongly prefer natural gourds.
Sharon and Robert,I’m in Louisiana and it is doing the same thing to me..mine also said request denied,but it did say the geo locator was unable to.............
We're aware of the problem with the maps and we're working on resolving it with our web developer. Unfortunately, Google has changed the process for encoding maps right when we need it the most!
Submitted scout reports are still being received on our end despite any error messages.
It should be squared away quickly. Thanks for your patience.
