25 Fledgings yet to fly into the world;

Postby Ken&Sheryle - TX » Thu Jul 07, 2005 5:47 pm

Hi Ya'll,

I can't believe how many babies we have during this time of the year. Ken took a total count and there are 25 babies - among those 25; 20 of them will be fleding within the next week...the other 5 will not be until the end of July. Very, very strange.

I hope everyone had a wonderful season and God Bless ya'll!!!!

Hi Sheryle! Sounds like it's going to be pretty wild around there the next week or so... :wink: .... I had 4 nests to fledge the end of last week, and this week, and they still come back late in the afternoons to stay the night. Thank goodness I have enough open gourds/compartments that they have a place to sleep... :) .... I have one more nest that should fledge around the 19th... :grin: ..... I sure will miss them when they leave. Good luck to you the rest of the season... :) ...Pat
