Hi Dick, I doubt it's too early. This year? who knows? I saw what I thought to be a female sub last evening. I'm headed back out now to watch for any males. Even after all this time I have a bit of trouble being sure of some of them, so I am very careful about reporting subs. Sometimes it helps to see the male subs trying to attract a mate. I hope you have a great year, and even if I don't get my full colony I'm going to make it a great one with whatever I'm blessed with.

I didn't loose a baby last year because we fed them so much that they didn't have to fight the skys for food
