Well I think it's going to be the Golf Course Site for my very first public site! We set up a little meeting on Monday the 16th at 4:00. My mom already talked to him about putting one up and he already said that's great! But anyways to the questions I have?

I think I decided on the Mutipurpose pole with 2 M12Ks and 2 Bo9 gourds. I'm planning on building the cross piece that go up and down the pole that holds the houses! I already have a 2 inch square that I'm going to use for this! But I just need some pointers on how? I have plans drawn out for this project and I'm planning on using angel iron for the cross arms! Good idea or not? Also I'm not sure how I'm going to attach it to the square piece which is like the sleeve that holds the cross arms? If none of this works I have another option!

Does anyone know if the PMCA would only ship the cross arms and supports on the mutipurpose pole set up? I need everything else but the pole? Does anyone think they can do that? Thanks!
Hope everyone has a great year!!

Kyler,

Kyler, on mine the Hub that rides over the pole is 3” sq. it’s dimpled in where the glide buttons go. The part that holds the houses are angle iron on each side of the hub with braces which are also fastened to the hub. The angle iron and braces are attached with hex head bolts, heads are inside the hub and the nuts on outside. The heads on the bolts don’t protrude past the glide buttons on the inside since they tighten against the inside wall and the holes are not dimpled in.

Kyler when I needed parts for my MMP. a number of years ago the people at the PMCA sent my request for the parts I wanted to the people that make the MMP and its related parts and I was able to get just what I needed. Maybe you can still do the same now.

Thanks guys for the reply! I got the pole and the winch all set up today! So now all I need to do is build the crosses and supports setup. I went and looked at some angle iron also! Another question I have is should I use the angel iron with the holes or the stuff that doesn't? Or does it really matter? Also will the bolts hold it together really tight or is there some type of glue or something for metal that would create a stronger bond? Without welding the thing together.
