Trio question

I have read recently somewhere that you should sub floor a Trio house. I just finished up grading a trio-12 for a site for some other people.I put 1inch styrofoam in the nesting side and dished it out,My question is, should I put something in the entrance side? Maybe 1/8 in cork or something?

Penny: There are two major organizations that are involved in racing pigeons. One club is the AU (American Union) the other is the IF (International Federation). Most of these bands will be from one or the other, there are a few exceptions as there is a company called Foy's who also issues bands for...

Please be careful when it comes to shooting pigeons. The law is referring to the common pigeon or wild pigeon that you may see in parks, on buildings under bridges. There are many preforming types, such as Tumblers, rollers, tipplers, High fliers, and Racing homers,(that have saved many American live...

If it was poor light or they were siloweded against the sky it was most likly a sharpy. There would have been more of a fight if a grackel had the nerve or a reason to try that. Keep a look out it will most likely be back. Sorry to hear about That. Ed.

Years ago when we had racing pigeons one of my friends was walking by the loft when a coopers hawk hit a pigeon not more than 3 feet from his face, actually splattered blood on his face. When a hawk is diving on his pray it takes a lot to distract them. I don't think it is braveness just concentrati...

Mary.. Keep an eye on the bird for as long as you can: if he just flys a short way and seem like he lands on the ground a lot or flys from tree to tree a lot and has the appearance of a long beak, he is most likely a starling. Don`t be fooled by their song, they can sound simular to a martin, but in...
