I had a couple of subbie pair hang around for a couple of weeks but they did not stay. I also manage a site at a local campgrounds and no martins returned this year either, after hosting martins for the last two years.

Same thing for me again this year no martins as usuall at my site. None have returned to the site I manage at a local campgrounds this year either even after being sucessfull the last two years. My neighbors coloneys are doing well though but with fewer birds this year.

There is a local cropduster guy that lives a few miles from our home that has a yellow Biplane that looks very much like the one in your pictures. And like the piolet in your pictures his flying skill are amazing but I shure wish the piolet here would put a muffler on his plane it gets rather ANOYIN...

My Excluder Gourds were deliverd just this morning and John is right, they are big and heavy. Also, I have never seen a porch made as thick and solid as these are either.
These gourds will be set up at my neighbors coloney next spring where I have a lot of other gourds up every year.

Emil, they are starting to fledge around here my yard was full of young martins yesterday flying around my housing which is identical to the housing at my neighbors where they most likley fledged from. Now if only they would come back here next year! :roll:
