I spray mine with Krylon Fusion paint then with a multi-purpose clear UV resistant sealer. This will bring back some of that like new shine.

That is great news Steve! That old boy has been "around the block" a few times! Better take a good close look at him his feathers might have a touch of grey or silver in them!

Last summer one of the nesting Tree Swallows in our yard would get so close to me that his wings would actually touch my hair. He was the main one along with a pair of aggressive Bluebirds that chased away the pair of subbie martins that were trying to stay.

I did not make the trap I used, I borrowed it from my cousin everything on is correct it has caught many a starling in other locations. It just didn't work for me.

Steve, something to consider for shelving that works great for me is wire shelving that you can get from most hardware stores. I am sure that would work well for you.
