I'm voting for the Brazil trip….currently -17 in western WI, with a lovely breeze. I might have miscalculated, but I came up with a wind-chill temp of 4,100 degrees below zero. (OK, I didn't really calculate---that was just my estimate, based on how my hands and feet felt after plowing our driveway ...

We are located in far western WI…after a low last night of 19 below zero, our "high" today is forecast to be a whopping -2. Some Anchorage residents will likely run around in shorts today (their forecast high is 44), and their neighbors to the north, Fairbanks, will top-out at 29 degrees. What the h...

Oh, I SO long to hear the wonderful sounds of returning martins, and SO hope that one day our yet-lived-in new Gemini rack looks anywhere near as close to wonderful as this.

We are in western WI, where it's currently zero out, and the snow is about knee deep.

Ray….hard to believe, as I look out at the snow piled high, but we do have those 90+ degree days (sometimes many). I have vent plugs for the elbows, so in the event they aren't needed, they'll stay plugged. Still trying to decide the most aesthetically-pleasing means for venting the vertical gourds....

I put twin vents in all the horizontal Troyers; air-flow looks to be greatly improved. Haven't decided the best means for venting the vertical round gourd yet.

The return of martins to the frozen tundra of western WI is still several months off, so I have a little time.

Possibly they are new, or maybe I've been (again) caught sleeping at the wheel. Anyone have any experience with the vent plugs Troyers offers???
