I have a Gamo but the trigger pull was to hard so I bought a new trigger on line that was easy to install and it helps a lot on accuracy. You must have bought the GRT III from Charlie Da Tuna. Superb trigger. Make the Gamo shoot so much better. That's all I need to do to my Gamo 220. It's already a...

Don't know if my wife would be so helpful :) good one. I am close by to a scuba place.. Also we have plenty of paint-ball shops that do either air or Co2 refils. I'd likely get a hold of some used scuba tanks. Yeah these rifles have their own little quirks I suppose. I've never owned a PCP style, bu...

Very nice!

the login is actually pmcacolonies@gmail.com... had to figure that out.

The pics from Pennington NJ are great. Love the little hatchlings. Looked like a very protective martin in the gourd too.

thanks, I love them. I can see many of the mud nests near the boat docks. There are hundreds here and yes, I have noticed they are more like skimmers. They feed much lower than the martins. On some morning we have these "katydid" looking bugs all over our boat. I can pick them up, toss in the air an...

Barn swallow question

At the place I work at in Port Allen we have plenty of barn swallows that disappeared during the winter. I'm assuming they migrated too. When should we expect them to return? Thery are very fun to watch here. They make mud houses under the boat docks and I love to throw bugs for them to dive down on...

Funny! blow drying pine straw-- I guess they like it about as much as pullin' bed sheets out the dryers and throwing em straight on the bed :) Great feeling!

I'm in Slidell--- so I hope to see them very soon to. This weekend will be very warm (mid to upper 60s), hopefully more are coming up.

Tom--- I was looking at the Pyramid Airgun website. There are videos of them testing the Maruader--- Gee Wiz man, this is bar-none, the rifle to buy. Under 400 bucks if you scour the online sources. Mid 400 range through Pyramid. It's got features that people pay huge dollars to have-- World class t...

I am very satisfied with the Discovery. The trigger mech. could use some improvement but that is easy to do. Three trigger adjustment screws need to be added and the housing is already setup for two of them. I have a fully adjustable two stage trigger now and the additional cost was less that two d...

I have been working with a new Benjamin Discovery PCP. It has a very tight group. Yeah-- that will likely be my next rifle. I love how there is a gauge on the rifle to tell you how much air you have. The Gamo version does not. I've read some very good reviews of that rifle on some of the airgun for...

John, There's been zero problems with people messing with the nests. They are out on jetties that only a nut (like Bo and I) will walk on ! :) And maybe an ocassional problem with crows. The nests were heavily populated and put out loads of fledges. I'm sure a couple fell out and were eatn by some s...

We had some big mass killings in La a couple weeks ago. All starlings and red winged blackbirds. Thousands. We were driving down the road and saw what I thought was rubber from a blown tire, but as we got close it was thousands of dead blackbirds. I read the poison is designed for those species, but...

Yeah-- air rifles are addictive. Some of the rifles are expensive, but the ammo is cheap and you can shoot nearly anywhere.

I've read the new Gamo precharged is really nice:

Benjamin makes one like it too with a couple different features.

One shot... one kill

I spent about an hour sighting in my Gamo air rifle on Friday and was glad did. It was a off. Sighted it in at about 20 yards. This morning I had a couple starlings land in my backyard, so I though this would be as good a time as ever to do some sniping. Put the cross hairs on the closest to me and ...

It's not too bad- and not for the sqeemish :-D

The reason we had to stop today was because the wind picked up and was breaking over the jetties. Started to get ugly out there. The water is only 1 to 2 feet deep off the sides. But who wants to get wet in 30 degree weather!

Tell us more about this undertaking,,,,,, dick I'm helping Bo Kite of Mandeville, La with a setup of 24 PM houses spread out along Lakeshore Dr. The houses are located about 50 to 75 feet over the lake at the end of jetties. I think each house holds about 18 cavities. This is the third year it's be...
