Thanks Steve for the encouragement. It defiantly is an emotional roller coaster when it comes to martins.
I did have some excitement yesterday when 2 adult males landed on my new trendsetter!! They seemed to like it. Let's hope so! Annie

I just had 2 adult males land and check out my new trendsetter house! One tried a few times to get in the cresent entrences but didn't go all the way in. Ladybug...My tree swallows showed up today too. They went right to their box and were around all afternoon. Annie

Mike, those tree swallows can be a hassle. Maybe put a swallow house up just for them 30 or 40 feet away from your martin house. Hopefully they will use it. Keep your martin houses plugged until they start nesting in it. As for you putting your house on your pier I know alot of people do that. It su...
