Also if u have some sparrow door traps use them on ur houses early to trap as many as u can before the martins come & also get a nest box ...

Agreed Dave!!! You never know someone could have moved or passed away suddenly & then the housing is taken down or not put back & then martins are then looking for new homes!!

I'm trying to get my colony started & have given them different opinions to choose from!! Grandpa houses, natural gourds & artificial gourds!! It would be a great feeling to have them nest in one of my natural gourds I've been working on this winter!!
