I've been adding nesting material, to my gourds. They do bring in more pine needles to build a thick nest when they are ready.

Yesterday I had my first pair move in. A beautiful male ASY moved into a gourd with the female that arrived this past Monday. I think I am off to another season! Best of luck to everyone!

Here is what they look like after I put the tunnels, and vent caps on my gourds. I hope this helps anyone that has Bo Nine gourds and is looking for a DIY owl guard. Well looks like my 3M Command Stainless Steel Wire Hooks (Outdoor Use) did not hold up. Apparently it's for outdoor use under a covered patio not for the outdoor elements. I'm thinking it doesn't like the water (rain). Anyway back to installing my sign the old fashion way! lol
