... Peter .. You may have to go to one of those programs that allows you to crop and cut a portion out of the original photo.. Then you can paste that cropped section to make a new smaller photo... Might work...

,,,,, Our Baby Martins fledged on the 30 of July ,, and they have come back ever night, just before dark.. They have come back for 12 nights in a row... Now they have gone for good this year.. Looking forward to seeing them again in the Spring...

... As long as you have visitors coming by from time to time.. Your in good luck... It may take them a year or two, but they will settle in. It took me a few years of trying, before the first pair nested back in 2019.. Good luck...

,,,, Spiderman ... That's interesting to hear.. But, I think you may have something there.. I have one pair ready to fledge in a day or so, and I haven't seen the Male feed the babies, either, Female only.. He does a lot of yacking but very little if any feeding.. Now I have a swarm of Martins here ...

.... I was watching the nest cam each night after the babies have fledged.. to see how many nights they would come back.. ? The babies came back on the 22nd of July for the seventh night, and then the camera went off air.. Did someone decided the season was over ?.. And we didn't need the camera any...

Good question for a couple reasons. First is that it is required to verify fledgling for each nest by marking fledge (F) if your data is to be counted when you submit the Martinwatch data. Second is not to get too hung up on individual fledge dates as nestlings often fledge over several days. I mak...
