Those winds are definitely bringing them north. I heard that a friend of mine in south west Iowa got a martin on the 12th. His earliest arrival ever.

I just did a count of the Iowa reports for last season and this season as of the 11th and this year the reports are down by half.
Having to log onto a different place other than the forum seems to have kept a lot of people from reporting.
