Re: Freeze Sparrow Eggs

One would think care in methods used so the sparrows do not attack the PM Nests. Sparrow trap and or other methods can be used to remove the sparrows. Some talk about having a good landlord daily watch and plan to implement will help discourage the sparrows by removal before they get established in ...

Re: Freeze Sparrow Eggs

I have heard some landlords hurry and put the eggs in a microwave oven and toast them quikcly not to break the shell and hury back to the box for placement and the birds do not hatch after keeping sparrows busy. Of course the sparrow trap on a pole works as well to help remove them from a box. No kn...

We find it hard to have a long 14" pole sent as one piece and if so where did you buy it local etc. Thanks as we built another laminated wood pole with a ton of screw anchors but i...

Sturnus Vulgaris Boney leg flying rat! 5 Star Rating to the 11 year old and other. One Forum resident reported they remove 250 Starlings and now reports none at their site. These birds are crafty and smart per conversation ranger in our area as they are hard to remove with that boney wing.

First box was built in 1972 at our present address and now we are working hard to establish another colony and not make earlier mistakes etc.
Like some of the bass lakes around your area as we have fished some of them and had good times in your area. Good Luck!

Re: Time for new cable; threading winch question

You can double the cable on upper pulleys for each side with cable on each side if so desired. We have a set up this way for added safety etc It takes some effort to equalize both sided on the wind up as you thread it on the pulley and if not just right you lower some and tread again. The cable brok...
