Steve, I had 2 Sy Females show up 2 days ago. They are early. I still am also having more ASY'S showing up. Looks like we are going to have some strong South Winds to start today, so I may get more coming in. The Season is going well so far!

Well I had 2 Female Sy"s show up at my site. They are early, but great to see them. I know it is a matter of time when the Sy Males show and they are A$$ holes around the colony, but they will increase my site which I like.

If you have round holes change the out for SREH and they will not be able to get in and if they are hanging around shoot them.

NEver use it due to it can and will get wet. When they get wet it can clog up the drain hole and when it rains again it will flood the nest.

Thanks everyone and after I posted this 5 more showed up. I love seeing them and they do not bother my Martins as they have there on housing with the Bluebirds.

Could drill it out with a hole saw and put a piece of PVC with a cap and seal around it. PVC Cement may also holed it to the gourd.

Well my first TS showed up today . That means that the Martins are not that far away. I really hope that they stay away for a few more weeks until the weather gets better, but it is great to see a swallow in the yard.

Steve, There is a few colonies that I have seen that are still natural gourd site around me and they are full of martins. A lot of plastic gourds are being used to replace those as they fail.
