I've been home from work with the flu the past couple days, searching back issues of the Update, looking for references to Western Martins. This list may be incomplete, in that I do not have a copy of Issue 1-4, and also because I may have missed some items during my search. If anyone knows of any Update reference to martins west of the Rockies not included in this list, please let me know. I've also included reference to several Eastern sites where martins are nesting in manmade structures not intended as housing for martins, something that also occurs in the West.
thanks to the PMCA and all the contributing authors for all this valuable information.
Also, if anyone knows of a copy of issue 1-4 that could be for sale, please let me know. I am willing to pay a premium price, based on its condition.
