I have been very pleased with the results of the RBT (repeating bait trap) - baited with a chunk of suet. I have caught 2 or 3 starlings each time I set it out, near a regular suet feeder frequented by woodpeckers, but too quickly consumed by starlings. Linda Reynolds had mentioned this use, which had not occurred to us here at PMCA - but we are definitely going to add this information to instructions for using the trap. For those of us with too many starlings in the area, here is a less-expensive alternative to the S & S Controller. I set the trap out this morning, on returning home at lunch, 3 more starlings! Thanks again to Linda for this idea.
