Had 5 pair of Martins this year in my 2 Trio 12 compartment houses. Bought another very similar vinyl 12 compartment house at a garage sale with crescent holes to put up next year along with 2 new Excluder gourds with crescent holes. My question is when converting my Trio hoses to 6 compartment houses should I make them all crescent holes or leave some with the round holes?

If you use round holes and have deep or double units, starlings usually overrun the house quickly.

Well then will get everything I need to convert them all to crescent openings.
Thanks
