First sighting

Postby C.C.Martins » Sun Feb 03, 2019 3:55 pm

Well,
Went to pull weeds and of course looked up and there was an ASY male circling my roof! He did a few passes, had time to run and get the binocs; I got a good look at him...then he slowly drifted off. he was very quiet. just hovering. Wow Early, last year it was the 18th. don't know that hell be back but here's to hoping!
Ecstatic!

After reading your post and seeing 3 scout reports in the area I went ahead and raised the rack yesterday. Now I keep looking out expecting to see Martins every few minutes. Lol. :P

Oh yes! You too, i called my wife and asked her to look today while i was at work. Lol. Cant pass a window without looking...its a disease isnt it.
I had mine lowered as well, went out before dawn and raised it all the way up. Early for us but God forbid one of our babies is looking for a place to sleep and we dont have it. Gone all day so dont know if that guy came back. John barrow and louise have two spending the night so yep they are about.
Look forward to hearing yours made it sir.
