Landlord Topic

Postby Keith » Fri Feb 01, 2019 7:54 pm

I am not seeing posts from many Purple Martin landlords the last year or two on this forum that regularly corresponded sharing their expertise. Hope they are OK and have not lost interest in their colonies. I learned so much from them for five, ten, fifteen years or so. I love to read material from every one on here and sometimes chime in myself. Good luck to every one this 2019.

Keith, the only thought I have on your observation is I am guessing that many Landlords now spend most of their time on the PMCA Facebook Group. The PM Facebook Groups are nice but, they do seem to take a toll on Forums.

Hi Keith,
I have noticed this too and like you have benefited from many knowledgeable folks here.
While I do not post often, I see what you mean.
As a member of a few of car enthusiast forums for many years, I have seen the same thing occur there.
I will agree with Dale. FB has taken a toll on other sites too. I am not on FB, but understand it's popularity and attraction.
Some are on there all day or a great part of the day and enjoy it.

This site is a great source of information.
All we can do is keep patronizing it and the PMCA for the welfare of our little winged friends.
After all, that's why we're here.

Regards,

😊

I don't trust evil, leftist, free speech supressing FaceBook with my personal information. I do still trust the forums. Trust takes years to earn and seconds to lose.
